Dr Kishani Kannangara

Endocrinologist, Andrologist and Fertility specialist.

  • Dr Kishani Kannangara is a highly experienced Endocrinologist and Fertility Specialist. She has been working in clinical and hospital settings for over 12 years.

    Born in New Zealand, Kishani graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) before completing physician training at Gosford and Concord Hospitals. Kishani then went on to complete her Advanced Endocrine training at The Prince of Wales in Randwick and The Nepean Hospital in Penrith before undertaking an Andrology Fellowship at The Prince Henry Institute and Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne in 2010.

    In 2011 Kishani was admitted to the Royal Australian College of Physicians as a Consultant Endocrinologist.

    Kishani’s comprehensive knowledge around the endocrine system leads to a thorough approach in investigating infertility and the reproductive function. Not only is she passionate about assessing and treating male factor infertility, she can offer experienced fertility treatment options to a couple. She is affiliated with Westmead Fertility Centre and Monash IVF in Parramatta.

    Dr Kannangara is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, the Australian Diabetes Society, and Fertility Society of Australia. She is a visiting medical officer in Andrology at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
